On July 27, 2019, following the All-Night Vigil at the Holy Dormition Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufriy of Kyiv and All Ukraine received Serbian Orthodox Church hierarch , His Grace Bishop Arsenije (Glavčić) of Niš and hierarch of the Orthodox Church in the Czech Lands and Slovakia His Eminence Archbishop George of Michalovce and Košice, who came to participate in celebrations marking the 1031st anniversary of the Baptism of Kyivan Ruś. His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufriy conducted meetings with representatives from each delegation that had arrived in Kyiv for the celebrations personally.
His Beatitude thanked the representatives of the above-mentioned Local Orthodox Churches for their attendance at the celebrations and presented the honoured guests with gifts as a memento of the special occasion.
